The Scobleizers were in town

Yesterday evening a small group of local bloggers and blog-interested people met A-list- and former Microsoft Evangelist-Blogger Robert “The Scobleizer” Scoble, his wife Maryam and Robert’s aunt in the MartinsbrÃ¤u (nice pic ) in Freiburg. I’m a long-time reader and you could say that his blog improved MS’s overall image, his book “Naked conversations” helped to start up and inspire corporate blogging projects, not only in the US. Robert is now also pod- and videocasting, interviewing CEOs and Geeks in The ScobleShow for PodTech.

He signed the books Remo and I brought along. Topics discussed varied, blogging, conferences, geek, biz I, II and non-geek (Thx, Tim) alike, all interesting and in a quiet comfortable atmosphere. A-list bloggers are humans, too I really enjoyed talking to Robert and Maryam and get to know the other people who showed up. Just before going home, the Scobleizers couldn’t resist and got @work, did an interview with Caro, a local freelance ~~(Caro? yep, sort of)~~ online-journalist. She put some more photos on Flickr.

Remo filmed the “Making of” and posted it here.

By the way, our little RL meet-up took place parallel to the 5th Webmonday in SecondLife, but we had real beer Maybe and hopefully this small mini-event leads to a first Webmontag in Freiburg?

Hm, ich kaufe: 25h Zeit pro Tag … sonst wird das alles nix …
Mitten in den Endarbeiten zu meiner Diplomarbeit stell’ ich doch glatt in 2 min meine YouTube-Playlist als “Vlog”, naja, auf public. Nur so zum Spass, ganz ÃŸeta also.

Das Original, frÃ¼her schon hier angekÃ¼ndigt, gibt es ja jetzt schon eine Weile, ankucken, mitreden: Die Kanzlerin direkt, podcast v0.1.
Emotionslos, steril und langweilig? Oder die Polit-Social-Revolution? Das Feedback war seeehr gemischt.

Etwas originaler ist Frau Merkel mit Lyssa a.k.a Katharina Borchert in ihrem Kanzlerin-Büro unterwegs: Die Kanzlerin direkt, vlog v0.1 auf xolo.tv. Das findet auch Robert, Holgi und die rebels eher nicht. Mehr Infos zu Lyssa und ihrem neuen Job in ihrer Lounge u.a. die Story, wie sie Gevatter Tod von der Schippe sprang … unglaublich, aber wahr!

Vorher hat Lyssa noch krÃ¤ftig bei der WM mitgebloggt, Weallspeakfootball, wÃ¤hrend die rauschenden Medien schon zum Kanzlerinberaterinstatus gratulieren.
Vlogging (Wikipedia de/DE, en/EN) und Bürgerjournalismus (WP de/DE, en/EN), meiner Meinung nach reif fÃ¼r ein gar nicht so kleines next big thing!? Gar die Zukunft des Fernsehens?
